We were delighted when our project manager advised us that he had selected Cove Construction to build our dream beach house in Kuaotunu. During the tender process we had been invited up to Nick Gill’s home to meet his young family, discuss the project and obtain references from other houses he had built. We were very impressed from the start and were confident that he and his team would have the requisite skills to handle the task. Being an architect designed house with several unique features, the construction work involved some complex and technically challenging work which Cove Construction executed with perfection. All members of the team were friendly and professional and displayed a very strong work ethic – arriving promptly every day at 7.30am and never once letting us down. The project lasted for 7 months between March and October 2012 with the team working through some very testing weather conditions until the house was made weathertight. We were based in Auckland during the construction period but kept in regular contact throughout to openly discuss any matters of concern requiring our input. Nick is not just a fine builder and craftsman; he is also a natural leader with strong business acumen – the perfect combination of competences required to ensure that your home or building project will be finished on time, to budget and to the very highest quality.
